# GreenVista, a website for a landscaping company

A website for a company that looks after both private gardens and commercial grounds. Services, packages, the way the work runs and an enquiry form all sit on the site.

## The problem

### One website for a private yard and a commercial site

The company has two quite different audiences. A homeowner with a lawn and the manager of a shopping centre are looking for different things and read in different ways.
The website had to speak to both without splitting into two separate websites.
The private client cares how the garden will look and what it costs. The manager cares about regularity and a schedule he can plan around.
A single undivided list of services worked for neither of them.

The second part was trust. Landscaping is commissioned rarely, and whoever commissions it almost always compares several contractors.
So the page had to show how the company works and what happens after an enquiry.

* A split between residential and commercial properties
* A clear scope for each service
* An enquiry for a consultation from any page

### Services are split by type of property

There is one catalogue, but it opens differently. The private client sees lawn care and garden design, the manager sees regular grounds maintenance.

Switching does not move you to another page. The visitor stays where they are and compares what suits their own property.

## The solution

### Every service has its own page

Each service page carries photographs, the scope of work, the process and an enquiry form.
The scope is described through actual jobs, mowing, feeding, seasonal cleanup. The visitor knows what an order includes before speaking to anyone.
The packages sit on the site before anyone submits an enquiry, so the visitor knows the rough figure for their own property in advance.
Reviews are separated by type of client, so a manager reads a manager's review and a homeowner reads a homeowner's.

Common questions have their own section covering services, prices and process. They get answered before the enquiry.
The menu, service cards, forms and buttons work on small screens, which is where the site is read most.

* A page for every service
* Packages shown before the enquiry
* A dedicated questions section

The process is set out on the website in advance, so the client knows what follows an enquiry.

## How the work runs

### From the site visit to ongoing maintenance

[ Assessment and plan Site conditions are assessed before a crew starts work.](#tab1)[ Delivery The work follows the agreed plan, and the client knows the order of it beforehand.](#tab2)[ Maintenance schedule Maintenance runs as a standing programme, so the grounds stay in shape between visits.](#tab3)[ Scale of the property The same process holds for a private yard and for a commercial site.](#tab4)

## The result

### Every client finds their own section quickly

The private client and the property manager land on the same website and immediately see the section that applies to them.
The enquiry arrives stating the type of property and the service wanted.
A new service goes into the same catalogue as its own page, and the other pages stay as they are.

The company has a website that explains its services instead of a salesperson doing it.
There is one enquiry form for the whole website, so changing it needs no edits in several places.
