# Customers find us fine on Google in Annaberg-Buchholz, on Apple Maps and Siri we're practically invisible

Our Google Business Profile in Annaberg-Buchholz is in great shape, lots of reviews, current photos, people find us fine there. A customer recently mentioned he searched for us via Siri on his iPhone and simply couldn't find us.

We assumed a well-maintained Google profile would automatically show up everywhere. Why is that apparently not the case, and what can we do?

Apple Maps doesn't pull data directly from Google, it cross-references its own sources, other map providers, business directories, and its own crawler that reads websites and legal-notice information. A business that only maintains its Google profile often doesn't show up there at all, or shows up with outdated data, because of that.

Apple offers its own free registration tool for this, Apple Business Connect, which lets you enter address, hours, and category directly for Apple Maps and Siri. Without that separate listing, a business can end up completely invisible there in the worst case, even with an exemplary Google profile.

Especially for an iPhone-heavy customer base, which also shows up in a region with plenty of trades and tourism businesses, that extra step genuinely makes a difference.
