# The new colleague holds every right on the Page and still gets nowhere

Every right sits on the Page, and the ad account and the reporting stay closed to her.

After our marketing colleague left we gave her successor every right directly on the Page. For posting that is enough.

As soon as she needs the ad account or the reporting, something is missing everywhere. We have assigned rights three times now with no change.

The rights are landing on the wrong object. At Meta the Page and the ad account are both assets, and access to them is held in the business portfolio that contains them.

So the order matters. Add her to the portfolio, then hand her the Page and the ad account from inside it. Anything granted on the Page alone reaches posting and stops there.

Two details will save you the next failed attempt. Full control of an asset and full control of the portfolio are separate rights, and reporting across several assets needs the second one. For temporary work there is also time-limited access, choosable between three and seventy-five days, which is the cleaner shape for agencies and internships.
