# A customer of just one branch left bad reviews at all four of our locations

A trade business with locations including Bautzen and Görlitz had a complaint at only one branch, but the same customer's bad review shows up at all four, and Google rejected the report.

We have four locations, including ones in Bautzen and Görlitz. A customer had a real job done at our Görlitz branch, and something did genuinely go wrong there, which we later sorted out with him directly.

Since then, bad reviews from that exact same customer have shown up at all four of our locations, with nearly identical wording. At three of the four, he was verifiably never a customer. We reported all three through the standard flagging tool, and Google rejected the report without further explanation.

Is there another way to handle this, or do those three reviews just stay up now?

This exact pattern shows up in real cases: a customer unhappy with one branch spreads the same review across several of a chain's other locations, even where he was never a customer at all. The standard flagging tool checks each review in isolation and often misses a pattern spanning several locations, which is why an automatic rejection like this is fairly common.

A second attempt through the official Google Business Profile help forum, listing all three affected locations and their review links in one clearly organized post, leads to an actual human review far more often in comparable cases than repeating the same report through the app.
