Facebook automatically created a business page for us, according to the note on the page itself, based on Facebook users' interests. The location listed is wrong.

We want to get rid of this page, or at least get it corrected, but can barely find any concrete guidance on how to do that.

What's the actual way to deal with this?

For exactly this situation, Meta has a dedicated process, separate from the general report function. Pages created automatically like this can be taken over through the Claim this Page option in the page's menu, provided you're actually the business it's about. After that, the location can be corrected, or the page merged with your real business page.

That option isn't always immediately visible and is sometimes tucked away in the page's submenus, under wording like Is this your business?

This route isn't always fully reliable either. Support responses on this tend to be slow, and in practice it sometimes takes several attempts before an automatically created page actually disappears or gets correctly attached. Expect this to take weeks more than days, and document every attempt in case a repeat request becomes necessary.
