# No access to a Facebook Page even though we're in the Business Portfolio

Our driving school has portfolio access, but nobody can edit the Page.

Our driving school was added to a Business Portfolio by a former office manager. I can see the Facebook Page inside the portfolio, but I can't publish a post or add anyone new to it.

Isn't portfolio membership enough to actually manage the Page?

That's exactly the issue. Meta's help center says plainly that portfolio access alone is not enough to edit one specific Page inside it. The Page itself additionally needs full control. That sits on a personal profile. The portfolio as a whole does not carry it on its own.

If a former office manager set up the access, full control most likely still sits on her personal profile, regardless of who else is a member of the portfolio. Without that profile, nobody else inherits it automatically.

Someone who already holds that access at the portfolio level needs to hand it over to your own account specifically. Once that happens, publishing and adding people becomes possible again.

Membership in a Business Portfolio, by Meta's own help pages, is not enough on its own to edit a single Facebook Page inside it. Full control over the Page is assigned separately to a specific personal profile, regardless of who else belongs to the portfolio.

If a former staff member set up the access, full control usually still sits on that person's own personal profile. Someone with full portfolio access needs to reassign it to a different profile before the Page becomes editable again, and before anyone new can be added to it.
