Google's new feature, where its AI itself calls a business, is explicitly US-only by Google's own statement.

A customer told us about a Google feature where the AI itself calls a business, asks about price or availability, and sends the customer a summary. For our mobile dog groomer in Dresden, with a schedule that changes constantly, we wonder whether we should prepare for this technically.

Are businesses in Dresden already getting calls like this, without any setup on our side?

Not yet. Google's own blog post on this feature, published 25 November 2025 and last updated 24 July 2026, describes it explicitly as US-only.

No mention of a German or European rollout appears anywhere in the post, and there is nothing to prepare technically either way, since the feature runs entirely on Google's side. For a mobile business in Dresden, the existing contact channels stay in place for now, a call, a message through the profile, or a form.

Google expanding this further seems likely enough, though the post names no date for Germany. [Illia BizTech](https://illia-biztech.de/en/webdesign-dresden) keeps an eye on Google features like this for Dresden businesses without planning around what has not launched yet.
