We got a lead through Local Services Ads that was completely wrong for our roofing business in Ingolstadt, a request for a service we don't even offer. There used to be a clear button to dispute a lead like that.

Now we can't find that option in the interface anymore. Did they hide it, or is it gone entirely?

That button is gone; Google removed it in mid-2024\. In its place came an automated, machine-learning-based review that identifies unqualified leads on its own. The review itself typically completes within roughly 72 hours, while the credit can take up to 30 days to appear on the bill.

You can still influence the system through the lead-rating feature, specifically the 'very dissatisfied' feedback option. Two reasons that used to qualify for a manual refund, 'job type not serviced' and 'area not serviced', are no longer accepted as grounds for a credit at all under the new system.
