She posts two or three times a week, the posts look good, and in eight months not a single enquiry has come through them. She keeps asking us what she should post, and we do not know ourselves. The account also runs on her personal phone and personal email address. She has simply never been told what all this is meant to lead to, and that is not an answer she can supply herself. So her constant question about what to post is not a sign of inexperience. It is the right question addressed to the wrong place. Topics come out of the work: which jobs are running now, what customers ask again and again, what goes wrong and how you fix it. Somebody sitting in the office who is expected to post has no access to any of that unless it is brought to her. Fifteen minutes a week with someone from the workshop solves the problem you have been circling for eight months. Posts that look good are rarely posts that produce an enquiry. What is almost always missing is the next step. If nothing anywhere says what an interested person should do, they do nothing. A link in the profile, a number in the description, a line at the end of the post. Do not expect enquiries to announce themselves either. Someone who notices you on Instagram rings two weeks later and says they found you online. Ask on the call, or you will score a channel at zero while it is actually working. The personal phone is what I would deal with first. Set up a Meta business portfolio. Through it the business stays the owner of the page while individuals get access through their own accounts. Then neither a holiday nor the end of an apprenticeship costs you access. Responsibility sits with the company regardless of who types.
