A large share of our customers come from Zgorzelec, many of them for repairs, and almost all of them say they found us through friends. My neighbour searched for serwis rowerowy on her Polish phone and got only workshops in Zgorzelec and one in Lubań. We were not there. Our website exists in German and English, and everything in the Google profile is in German. Your neighbour tripped over something else. Local results run on [relevance, distance and prominence](https://support.google.com/business/answer/7091?hl=de). Distance is fine for you, ten minutes' walk from the bridge is an excellent figure as far as Zgorzelec is concerned. Relevance is the problem: your neighbour typed serwis rowerowy, and those words appear nowhere in your profile or on your site because everything there is in German. For that search you are simply not what was asked for. So the cheapest lever here is not the website but the profile. Check the category and enter your services using the words somebody from the other side would use for them. Your existing customers from Zgorzelec are the best source for that, so ask two of them which words they would type. A Polish version of the site comes after that, and to be worth it, it has to stay small: home page, workshop with prices, how to get here across the bridge, opening hours. Three pages somebody can understand will do more than a translation of the whole site that you then maintain for a year. You do not need a .pl domain for any of this. You are in Görlitz, and that location is precisely what makes you visible. Two practical points to close. Reviews in Polish do not hurt you, they help, because they contain exactly the words people search for. So ask your regular Polish customers outright to write in their own language. And the fact that almost everyone comes through friends is not a weakness: in a town this size word of mouth is the strongest channel you have, and search sits on top of it. ##### #### [The quote was 6,000 euros and the invoice came to 9,500\.
