# Our company page has admins nobody knows and the request just sits there

A request for admin rights can be ignored by the existing admins with no consequence.

Our company page was created in 2020 by a working student. She left long ago, and we cannot get into the page.

We filed the official request for admin rights in July 2026\. Nothing has happened since. We are not told who the admins are.

The process behaves exactly as you are experiencing it. The request goes to the existing admins, and they can leave it sitting with no consequence. Declining it is unnecessary, silence is sufficient.

Support will not give you the names either. Who holds admin rights is not disclosed, which is sensible for those people and useless for you.

Two routes therefore lead somewhere, and both go around the request. One is finding the person herself through former colleagues, because a single contact settles this in an afternoon. The other is a new page, which costs you the history and the followers.
