We opened our café in Dresden over a year ago and have never filled in the description field on the Google profile to this day, there just wasn't time for it.

When we recently happened to open our own profile, there was nonetheless a full description text there that nobody on our team wrote. Some of the details it mentions are even correct, other parts sound fairly generic.

Where does a text come from that we never entered ourselves?

Google doesn't leave an empty description field blank, it fills it automatically with AI-generated text. A documented case confirms exactly this pattern, a business with no description of its own got an auto-generated version, and the explanation was direct, profiles without their own text regularly get filled in by AI.

That's not a glitch, it's the standard response to a gap.
